How should fish be thawed correctly?

In order to properly thaw fish or seafood, the most correct and best way is to leave the frozen product in the refrigerator for a day (up to 24 hours) at a temperature of +5°C.

To quickly warm up the fish, the vacuum-packed product can be immersed in a container of cold water, then the product will cool down faster and the product can be prepared faster.

Important:
Red Atlantic salmon roe must be thawed in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Otherwise, the caviar may become mushy and watery.
